Gen V Renewed For Season 2 By Amazon Prime Video

Gen V is given the go-ahead to produce a second part, expanding the universe of The Boys, despite the fact that there are still a few episodes that need to be broadcast in order to complete airing its first season.

As was to be expected, Eric Kripke's most recent series set in the same universe and produced for Amazon Prime Video was just as successful as the program that started it all.

Gen V follows a group of students at Godolkin University who dream of becoming the next great generation of superheroes, becoming film and television stars, or wanting to occupy some prominent post within Vought International. The show is set in Godolkin University.

On the other hand, they will find out that the University presents the world with an honoring facade; however, behind this facade is a dangerous and dark conspiracy that has resulted in the death of one of Godolkin's great promises.

In the television series Gen V, Jaz Sinclair plays the role of Marie Moreau, Chance Perdomo plays the role of Andre Anderson, Lizze Broadway plays the role of Emma Meyer, Maddie Phillips plays the role of Cate Dunlap, London Thor and Derek Luh play the role of Jordan Li, Asa Germann plays Sam Riordan, Shelley Conn plays Indira Shetty, and Patrick Schwarzenegger plays Luke Riordan, also known as Golden Boy. The next chapter in their tale is going to be written soon.

It has been confirmed by Variety that Amazon MGM Studios has made the decision to renew the show for a second season, which is currently in the planning stages.

In the official statement, which can be seen below and which you can read in its entirety, the CEO of the company, Vernon Sanders, expressed his excitement for what's in store for Gen V and The Boys franchise in the following way:

"Expanding the universe of The Boys with a series as bold as Gen V has been an incredible journey for us and our wonderful partners at Sony. From our first conversation with showrunners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, along with Eric Kripke, Evan Goldberg, and Seth Rogen, we knew Gen V would push the boundaries. Their unapologetic approach is exactly what audiences love, and it has helped Gen V become the No. 1 series on Prime Video in over 130 countries. Gen V is Prime Video’s most acquisitive new Original series of 2023, and we’re excited that our incredible cast and crew are going to continue telling brave and bold stories from Gen V to our customers."
